Coventry Airway Management Course

This one day course, run by Prof Cyprian Mendonca, is aimed at anaesthetists who wish to develop skills in managing difficult airways. Includes lectures and interactive workshops.

Workshops

Total 10 workshops (30 minutes each): candidates split in to 10 groups and each group rotates through each workshop (maximum 4 candidates in each group)

2. Oral & Nasal Fibreoptic Intubation

3. Fibreoptic Intubation through LMA/Igel 

4. Videolaryngoscopes 

5. Lung Isolation Techniques

6. Ultrasound Imaging of Airway 

7. Front of Neck Access 

8. Difficult Airway Scenarios

9. Awake Fibreoptic Intubation 

10. Extubation
