I have been a Consultant Anaesthetist at University Hospital Aintree NHS Trust in Liverpool since 2003. Besides the difficult airway, I am interested in anaesthesia for liver surgery and carcinoid syndrome. Along with Prof. Charters, I developed the ADAM (Aintree Difficult Airway management) website and oversee its allied 1 day workshop dealing with the anticipated difficult airway. When I am not entertaining my two kids I like to go fly fishing, road cycling, or skiing.
