The DAS website has been advertising airway workshops for many years. DAS will now formally acknowledge these courses and workshops by way of an application and award of a badge of recognition – ‘DAS approved courses and workshops’ logo (a registered UK trademark).
The ‘DAS approved courses and workshops’ application form is a PDF file which can be downloaded and submitted on line. This is to be renewed yearly.

Airway courses based in UK / Ireland
It is also essential that for DAS Approved course, the course organiser or faculty be:
Consultant Anaesthetist or Equivalent
DAS member
Course providers may advertise the course stating the ‘course is approved by the Difficult Airway Society. Course providers may use the DAS Approved Courses and Workshops logo (which is a registered UK trademark) in their supporting promotional material and on their programme relating to course activities, which have been approved by DAS.
The current list of Airway Courses on DAS website will continue to be retained, however, new courses will need to apply for the DAS approval logo.
